HRBS conducted a recruitment test for the position of PCB Design Engineer for one of our clients, Altanova Pakistan Pvt. Ltd.(Globally known Advantest USA) a US based firm providing turnkey solutions to the semiconductor test industry. The test was specifically designed to measure candidates’ performance in relation to electrical concepts. Candidates were required to engage with, and utilize, their skills and knowledge, and illustrate the key competencies and qualities required for the particular job role. Around 650+ engineers applied for the test from around Pakistan, in which they encountered a range of different questions, including: simple circuits,electrical symbols, voltages, resistance, resistors, measurements, signal flow,Ohm’s Law, ammeter, diodes, currents etc.Thistest was a method of accessing Engineers with their suitability to work on complex multi-layer High Speed Digital and RF Test boards used for different applications like High Speed networking, CPU, GPU, Mobile etc.
